Meal & Transport Scheme
The Meal & Transport Scheme aims to provide essential financial support to students who fall through the gaps, such as those who just miss the criteria to qualify for the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). By bridging this gap, we ensure that children and youth have access to daily meals and transportation, reducing the financial burden on their families. By easing household expenses, the scheme allows students to focus on their education.
Through this scheme, eligible students receive monthly top-ups directly to their EZ-Link cards to help cover school-related expenses:

- Primary School: $45 to $60 per month
- Secondary School: $80 to $95 per month
- Tertiary Students (Polytechnic, Junior College, ITE): $100 to 120 per month*
* Tertiary students will be required to serve as a volunteer in the Centre’s programmes for the duration of the assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore Citizens and/or Permanent Residents (PR). At least one member of the family has to be a Singapore citizen.
- Residing within Jurong Central SMC and neighbouring estates
- Monthly household income between $3000 to $4200 or Per Capita Income between $800 to $1000^.

Upload the following documents together with the application form:
- Identification Documents (e.g., NRIC, FIN)
- Recent Payslip or CPF statement for relevant household members
- Student pass/ concession (for Children/Youth programmes)
- Medical Reports (if applicable)
- Chas Card (if applicable)
^Application and type of assistance will be assessed and determined on a case-by-case basis.
