Belanja @ Jurong Central

Project Belanja @ Jurong Central is a community food distribution scheme designed to address food security in Jurong Central. Residents under the scheme can redeem cooked meals and drinks on a quarterly basis at participating operators through a “meal card” worth $40, comprising eight meals at $4 each and eight drinks at $1 each at participating coffee shops and eateries. Residents who wish to offer a helping hand to ‘belanja’ fellow residents can also purchase magnets at $4 each to place on the redemption board for those who need them to redeem when they visit the stalls.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Singapore Citizens and/or Permanent Residents (PR). At least one member of the family has to be a Singapore citizen.
  2. Residing within Jurong Central SMC
  3. Monthly household income less than $4000 or Per Capita Income less than $1000*.
